I am very involved in the custom home building process from land acquisition to design conception to the actual building process to following up with you after you move in.  I have built high end custom homes and am also passionate about helping people break out of the expensive Bend rental world into a starter home.  It is very important to me that every aspect of the home be high quality and aesthetically pleasing.  

This is such a great time to be involved in the rental market in Central Oregon.  There are several factors that make this investment attractive.  If you build smartly, you can build a home that is durable for long term use, cost-effective in terms of the build, and still allow for high end design.  This will ensure you have a greater return each month.  Another great aspect is the idea of using someone else's money (a renter's) to continue to pay off the house.  When the mortgage is paid off, you not only have monthly rental income, you also have the equity of the house itself should you decide to sell.  This includes the appreciation seen in the value of the home.  Lastly, as many have seen with the rental market in Central Oregon, the monthly rental income will continue to increase over time.
